Joseph Cachey III leads the team of industry and business professionals at Green Rock Hemp Holdings, LLC, a vertically integrated industrial hemp and CBD production company. The company integrates hemp genetics and growth with extraction processing to fulﬁll its customers’ needs from farm to bottle.
Prior to joining Green Rock, Cachey served as Chief Operating Ofﬁcer for Sigue Corporation, the largest privately held money transfer company in the United States. He had executive responsibility for leading over 1,000 employees across the Americas in sales and marketing, information technology, human resources, finance, and strategy. During his tenure, the company experienced a sales rebound capped off with the launch of its mobile money transfer app.
Previously, Cachey served in a variety of leadership roles at Western Union Financial Services, Inc., including Acting General Counsel responsible for the company’s legal, governance and regulatory matters. Cachey also served as Chief Compliance Ofﬁcer, with overall executive responsibility for the company’s anti-money laundering, licensing and corporate compliance and ethics programs in more than 200 countries and territories where Western Union conducts business. Cachey served for three years as a gubernatorial-appointed member of the Colorado State Banking Board. He also represented the money remittance and payment instruments industry on The U.S. Department of the Treasury’s FinCEN Bank Secrecy Act Advisory Group.
A member of the Colorado bar, Mr. Cachey received his Master of Law degree in Tax and his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Denver’s Sturm College of Law, where he was the Senior Editor on the Board of Editors of the Denver University Law Review.
